90年代中期にMACHEAZOを結成しDISHAMMER、BODYBAGなどでも活動してきたスペイン・グラインドコア / デスメタルシーンの重要人物、Dopiが2018年に結成したオールドスクール・デスメタルバンド、LEPROPHILIACと2021年1月結成からデモ音源を多数リリースする国産自称「Bored Death Metal」バンド、GRAVAVGRAVのスプリット音源。
LEPROPHILIACはベテランらしい演奏・作曲力と陰鬱で重厚なデスメタルリフが炸裂する4曲を収録。ラストの曲はゆっくりと地獄の門が開き邪悪が解き放たれ地獄に引き摺り込まれるような禍々しさに満ちている。
GRAVAVGRAVはゲストミュージシャンにのJaro (ex DEAD INFECTION / MEAT SPREADER)による詩の朗読からDEAD INFECTIONのカバーで幕を開けTakashi (ANATOMIA / NECROPHILE)をゲストヴォーカルに招いてのGRAVEを彷彿とさせる楽曲へと続く。8曲が最初から最後まで繋がり劇的な流れをキープするためトラックは1で、これまでのデモにも収録していた楽曲の再録音による集大成的な内容。
AUTOPSY、GRAVE、CIANIDEなどレジェンドOSDMファンから21世紀以降のNew Wave of Old School Death Metalファンまでオススメできる2バンドを収録したObliteration Recordsによるアジア流通CD盤はゲートフォルド・紙ジャケット仕様。世界リリースはポーランドのBehind the Mountainから12インチレコード / カセットテープ / 通常ケース仕様CDで発売。
